The first two apartments, one in the attic roof and one first floor have been completed recently. They are part of a historical company building. The third apartment is located in a apartment building facing the same courtyard The historical roughly 100 year old brick building is located in Berlin central destrict (Mitte, Tiergarten) in a very green backyard, free of traffic noise. The building became famous in 1968, when the members of the so called „Kommune 1“ moved into the two storage building. View Attic Loft The apartment has 125 sqm, 3 individual rooms and a rather large bath. Two bedrooms with Queen size bed and a sofabed offer 4 + 2 quests a nice and comfortable invironment in the center of Berlin. View 220 sqm first floor Loft The big loft in the first floor of the building has a total of 220 sqm with 4 bedrooms and a major internal bathroom as well as a second bath in the staircase area close to the apartment entrance door. The bedrooms are individual furnished and have Queen size beds with small desks. The spacious and comfortable living area of both apartments have an integrated kitchen area and rather large teak wood tables to allow big groups to sit together and enjoy meals or gamble. Skyloft big teak table This historical company building became famous in 1968, when the members of the so called „Kommune 1“ moved into the two storage building. People like Fritz Teufel, Dieter Kunzelmann, Rainer Langhans, Uschi Obermeier and Ulrich Enzensberger experimented with a new lifestyle in West Berlin, which counts as a symbol for and part of the myth behind the 1968 movement. |
